Creating the Velcro Popsicle Sticks
Place a Velcro dot on one end of the front of a Popsicle stick.
Place the counterpart Velcro dot on the other end of the back of the same Popsicle Stick.
Repeat this process until you have your desired number of Velcro Popsicle Sticks.
Activities
- Free Play: Allow your child to play freely with the Velcro Popsicle Sticks. They will enjoy learning how to attach and detach the sticks. They might also begin putting multiple sticks together to form chains or shapes.
2. Color Chains: Encourage your child to build chains of all one color Popsicle Stick. For more advanced play have your child connect the Popsicle Sticks in a recurrent pattern. (For example: red, blue, green, red, blue, green) You can make the pattern as challenging or as simple as you deem best for your child.
